Children participating in a summer camp designed to help reduce tensions in North Lebanon. Friction between Lebanese and Palestinian communities has increased in recent years due to the continued lack of an effective security system, poor governance and lack of rule of law in the camps. The MDG-F’s goal was to reduce the risk of relapse into violent conflict by promoting socio-economic, self-governance and peace-building activities.
