22-year-old Saskia Jeanty was one of two winners out of 550 entrants in the Championship of Women Entrepreneurs, an MDG-F-supported initiative which rewarded entrepreneurial spirit and innovative ideas. With 207 other contestants, Jeanty received business skills training and support to improve her beauty salon and to inspire sustainable development in her community, still struglling three years after the earthquake which devastated Haiti.
