In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the MDG-F assisted in the reintegration of 7500 returnees, including ex-combatants, women victims of sexual violence and the internally displaced. The programme directly supported 1,250 heads of the most vulnerable households, in particular female heads of families and mothers.
